Background
DRAUC is a "fun" dog agility club but obviously it is crucial that safety of both dogs and handlers is observed.
As such, new potential members are invited to attend an assessment of basic obedience, (see diary page for date confirmation), and ALL members are encouraged to help to set up and monitor safety of the agility equipment.
The initial training course is designed to give new members an introduction to the agility equipment and how to use it in a safe and proper manner.
At the end of this initial training, members will move onto a further course in order to hone this knowledge.
More experienced members have access to a "free course" and ongoing training is less formal, with ongoing observation and advice from peers.
